ideal for those who would really like to do the 11 week ski or snowboard course but are a little short of time. Training to the same standard and gaining the same internationaly recognised qualifications.

ideal for those who are really short of time. Due to the nature of the six week ski or snowboard course we ask that you are quite confident of your skiing/riding ability before you arrive. Training to the same standard internationally recognised qualifications, a lot more intense.
5 weekSki and Snowboard Instructor Training Course
ideal for those who are not so confident about their skiing/riding level, and are just wanting to go for a short course and only train for the very first level of qualification, the

SITCo. The Instructor Training Co. is a New Zealand Co. which is set up to facilitate the training of keen skiers to develop and achieve their Ski Instructor Qualifications. This we do this in the "summer" months and we are based in the beautiful setting of Queenstown, New Zealand.
New Zealand is an absolutely fantastic place to train, live and enjoy what a winter season has to offer.

At The Instructor Training Co. we provide quality training and all our trainers are qualified NZSIA instructors, if you wish to know more about our trainers just ask.
The NZSIA (which is the national certification body for snowsports in NZ) has made some changes in recent years and now you will be able to train and sit 2 levels of qualifications in the one season. Our courses are all designed to allow you to sit your NZSIA Level 1 and your NZSIA Level 2 qualifications.
We have been running these programs since 2002 and this year we are happy to be running a program that is specifically designed for people who have Japanese as their first language. Our program will incorporate a lot of Japanese language but training and the exams will all be in English, included in the program are formal English lessons and ski training from instructors who have worked in Japan.
You will get the best training from fully qualified NZ ski instructors, with the goal being for you to develop your own personal skiing ability, develop you teaching skills, and develop your analysis skills and your ability to demonstrate low end demonstrations. During the program you will have the opportunity to sit the NZSIA instructor qualifications.
You will be able to learn and speak English in an entertaining and fun snowsports environment.
