ski or snowboard course is the best for you, then we would recommend that you make this decision based on how much time you have available. Just because you feel that you are a better skier or snowborder, does not mean that the shorter courses are better suited to you. The qualifications are set at a high standard and because of this they are well respected once you have achieved that standard. The very fact that you are considering the course means that you must enjoy your skiing and snowboarding so get down here as early as you can and get the most out of it!

11 weekSki and Snowboard Instructor Training Course
ideal for those who want to come to New Zealand, and have a life changing ski or snowboard experience, while at the same time improving your skiing/riding and gaining internationally recognised qualifications.
8 weekSki and Snowboard Instructor Training Course
ideal for those who would really like to do the 11 week ski or snowboard course but are a little short of time. Training to the same standard and gaining the same internationaly recognised qualifications.
6 weekSki and Snowboard Instructor Training Course
ideal for those who are really short of time. Due to the nature of the six week ski or snowboard course we ask that you are quite confident of your skiing/riding ability before you arrive. Training to the same standard internationally recognised qualifications, a lot more intense.
5 weekSki and Snowboard Instructor Training Course
ideal for those who are not so confident about their skiing/riding level, and are just wanting to go for a short course and only train for the very first level of qualification, the
NZSIA Level 1.

5 week Ski and Snowboard Instructor Training Courses
The Instructor Training Co. runs 11, 8, 6 and 5 week training courses for Ski, Snowboard, general Improvement and a Japanese program. Below is an overview of the 5 week ski and snowboard courses.
5 week Ski and Snowboard courses run
27th June 2010 - 1st August 2010
Accommodation is from the dates above with on snow training beginning on the 29th of June. The final exam will finish on the 30th of July; therefore there will be a little time to acclimatize, before and after. Your lift pass will be valid for the whole season.

If you would love to come to Queenstown, New Zealand to be challenged in your skiing and riding, and get the maximum improvement in a short period of time, while at the same time getting a solid foundation in Ski or Snowboard Instruction with an entry level qualification, then this course is for you.
The 5 week Ski and Snowboard courses are aimed at those of you who would still like to join us in New Zealand for the season, but for whatever reason are unable to do the longer courses. It will be the first five weeks of the 11 week course, with the oportunity to extend for longer.
The 5 week Ski and Snowboard courses includes everything that the full program includes we have just shortened the time frame. The other major difference is that on the 5 week course there you are only going to be going for the 1st level of qualification, the NZSIA Level 1.
We do ask that if you are doing the 5 week course that -
on skis you are a confident all round skier, able to make parallel turns on most groomed terrain.
on snowboard you are a confident all round rider, able to link turns on most groomed terrain.

The program consists of five weeks of ski/snowboard training and 5 weeks of accommodation; price based on 2 people sharing a triple/quadruple room.
All of your training will be done by a currently qualified NZSIA Examiner.
