We are offering a series of ski improvement courses.
You want to get better at skiing?
You want to become a Ski Instructor?
You feel that your skiing is not there yet?
Our ski improvement courses are designed to allow you to make the improvements that are required to take you to the next level.
ideal for those who are not so confident about their skiing/riding level, and are just wanting to go for a short course and only train for the very first level of qualification, the NZSIA Level 1.
Within the ski improvement courses there is the same amount of training and the same technical focus, from the same highly qualified team of ski trainers.

Option to take the NZSIA Ski Instructor qualifications if you feel you are improving enough.

SITCo. - who we are.
SITCo. - The Instructor Training Co. was started in 2001, with our first season of training being in 2002. SInce then the sucess of the program has grown and to date we had over 230 people down here in Queenstown all learning to become Ski & Snowboard Instructors.
The Instructor Training Co. was started by
Gavin McAuliffe & Colin Tanner, Ben Clarrough has now joined us as head snowboard trainer.
Gavin McAuliffe has been an NZSIA Alpine examiner since 2000. Gavin has done many years working in the US, now Gavin works out of Queenstown & is based there Winter & Summer.
Gavin graduated from Waikato University with a degree in politics and economics and has since completed a post graduate diploma in sports management at Massey University.
Colin Tanner has been an NZSIA Alpine since 2000, & is also a BASI Trainer/examiner (British System)
Colin works out of Queenstown & Val d'Isere, France
Colin graduated from Edinburgh University with a Law Degree, he currently runs his own specialised ski school in Val d’Isere; the development centre
Ben Clarbrough is our head Snowboard Trainer.
Ben has been an SBINZ Snowboard examiner since 2000, & currently holds a seat on the Snowboard Technical Committee.
After years of back to back winters, with northern hemisphere winters in the US and Europe, Ben is now based in NZ full time.
Ben works out of Queenstown winter and summer.
