6 week Ski and Snowboard Instructor Training course

2nd Jan 2010 - 13th Feb 2010

Accommodation is from the dates above with a resort orientation day on the 3rd of January. The final exam will finish on the 12th February; therefore there will be time to settle in, before and after.

 

What if I don't need accommodation as I live in the area?

No worries we have a training only option - see below.

In order to allow for freedom, and to allow people to integrate other great travelling opportunities the cost of travel to and from Utah is not included in the above price.

e.g. What level of skier do I need to be?

For the SITCo. Snowbird ski course we ask that you can ski parallel on all groomed terrrain with confidence, so skiing green runs, blue runs, and can take on a black run if groomed and easy conditions..
During the 6 weeks there is a lot to learn so that we ask that you have this minimum level before you arrive.
If you feel that you are an athletic person that could improve quickly then there is the possibility for you to be below this level, although we would hesitate to recommend it for everyone.

 

e.g. What level of snowboarder do I need to be?

For the SITCo. Snowbird snowboard course we ask that you can ride linking consistant turns on all groomed terrrain with confidence, so riding green runs, blue runs, and can take on a black run if groomed and easy conditions..
During the 6 weeks there is a lot to learn so that we ask that you have this minimum level before you arrive.
If you feel that you are an athletic person that could improve quickly then there is the possibility for you to be below this level, although we would hesitate to recommend it for everyone.
